PATTAYA, Thailand — A British tourist who disappeared after failing to board a scheduled flight from Thailand has been found dead following an intensive nine-day search, his family has confirmed.
Joshua Kershaw, who was last seen on Monday, January 12, 2026, in the popular coastal resort city of Pattaya, was reported missing after he did not arrive for his planned flight. His sudden loss of contact triggered an international appeal and a growing search operation.
Thai authorities, supported by local volunteers and community members, carried out extensive searches in and around the Pattaya area as concern for his welfare mounted.
